What information do I need to enroll for Online Banking?

A: For personal accounts, you will need to provide your Social Security number, email address and phone number to enroll in Online Banking. You will also be asked to verify your enrollment using your Account Number.

Is UTB Online Banking secure?

A: Yes. Encryption is used on our website whenever you are asked to enter confidential information such as your personal account data. Using encryption between our server and your browser, we are able to encrypt or scramble the information to create a private session that only you and the UTB systems can understand.

In addition to encryption, we protect your account information by placing it under access controls requiring an Online ID and password. When you finish your banking, select Log Out in the upper right corner of the page to end your session (do not use the back button). This ensures the next time you or anyone else tries to view the page, they have to log in to view account information. For added security during logoff, close your browser, especially if you are using a computer in a public facility such as an airport or library.

Will my transactions & balances be updated throughout the day?

A: Yes. If you purchase items on your Debit card or make a deposit at a branch, you will be able to view those transactions through UTB Online Banking. Your pending transactions are located on the dashboard or by selecting the desired account to view more activity.

Can I use Quicken or QuickBooks with Online Banking?

A: You can use your Quicken or QuickBooks software to connect to UTB and download your account information, as well as send transfer or payment instructions to UTB online. Enrollment in Online Banking is required to use Quicken for your personal accounts. To use Quicken services with UTB, follow instructions within your software and enter your Online ID and password.

To enroll for QuickBooks service for your business, call us and we can walk you through the simple process after you have enrolled in UTB’s Business Online Banking. At this time UTB offers the web connect service for personal and business online banking to link to Quicken or Quickbooks.
